1950's Roaring Roadster This roaring roadster was built and raced in Beatrice, NE, by Del Witcomb. He raced it with the Nebraska Hot Rod Racing Association from 1950 to 1952.
In order to keep the weight of the car down, a narrowed Dodge roadster body was chosen because of its lack of steel re-enforcement. The Roadster is equipped with a Ford Flathead V-8 engine with high compression heads, multiple carburetors, center steering, and an in-and-out box. |
