Announcing The 2013 International Speedsters Trials & Reunion
The Museum of American Speed in Lincoln, Nebraska will host the 2013 International Speedsters Trials & Reunion during June 19-22 (Wed-Sat), 2013. Events will include:
- A road trip of around 150 miles
- Hill Climb, with classes and awards for any and all "banger"-powered Model T's and Model A's
-A full morning at Lincoln's "The Shop, Inc.", where their crew will dyno any and all registered cars whose owners would choose to do so
- Induction of the 2013 selectees into the MTFCA Speedsters and Racers Hall of Fame
- Other activities in our museum, as well as many hours set aside for museum touring
This reunion and its motoring events are a celebration of the fun and excitement that can be had with autos powered by pre-1935 side-valve Ford 4-cylinder engines at any stage of tuning and modification. All Model T and Model A enthusiasts are encouraged to attend, as are any and all other fans of the early 4-cyl engined cars, regardless of manufacture or current body style.
You absolutely do not have to currently own or bring a Ford "banger"-powered speedster, rod or stock-bodied car to join in the fun, but you'll wish you did when you get here! If you or your friends are considering building or buying a speedster, this will be a great venue to meet and talk with current owners and builders and to see (and hear!) cars with their various engines (many modified with vintage speed equipment!) from around the country.
Registration forms are now available by Clicking Here!
