| Description :
The great Smokey Yunick built this 429 for the Ford Motor Company in 1969. It was raced in the Pikes Peak Hill Climb that same year and won with Bobby Unser behind the wheel. Shortly following the Pikes Peak race, Ford also wanted to race the 429 engine in NASCAR but did not sell enough production cars to make the engine legal. | |||||||||
