Description :
Rare 320 HP OHV-converted 1946 Mercury built in 1951 by Don Clark and Clem TeBow of C-T Automotive in North Hollywood, California.  Used in “The City of Burbank” Bonneville streamliner beginning in the summer of 1952.  Car and engine represent the early emergence of the Hot Rod sport image from rebel to respectability as their accomplishments were many, setting multiple records including the SCTA B/Streamliner flying mile of 236.842 mph in August 1955.
