Preston Tucker had a vision for the "Car of Tomorrow." The Tucker 1948 was just that well ahead of its time. The Tucker is well equipped with various safety features that include a padded dash board, crash chamber, pop-out windshield, and four wheel suspension for better handling.

The car also sported three head lights in the front, with the center linked to the steering wheel, to turn with the direction the driver was traveling.

The car’s engine is a water cooled six cylinder Franklin helicopter motor that produces 210 horse power.

This car may have been used by the Tucker Corporation for a short period of time in Sacramento, CA (likely as a demo or display.)

This car was featured in the movie "Tucker." One of the two real Tuckers used in the film.
